I think I’m a kind and dependable friend… with a lust for adventure. I love nature and the outdoors and also enjoy the theatre, community and family life.
I’ve three children: one has bounced back from university; one is in her second year at uni and the other is still at school, living with me full time.
Gardening and my allotment are big enthusiasms, almost year-round. The fun and excitement of planting seeds and watching them emerge is an annual delight and like every gardener, I’m already looking forward to spring. I’m quite crafty - whether it’s a bit of haberdashery or DIY - and I enjoy cooking a meal or baking.
I’m a teacher, and weekdays are busy with school commitments. The teaching and pastoral sides of the job are rewarding and enjoyable; the bits involving spreadsheets, less so. I’m a big fan of nineteenth century lit and would be very keen on a date with a Mr Knightley kind of guy.
