I’m a great optimist. I love people and making new friends. I don’t appear shy as I’m outgoing, fun loving and sporty…so you’d never realise that underneath it all I am quite shy about making the first approach.
I started a ski travel agency and ran it for 30 years - so I am an inveterate traveller - and love an adventure. I speak several languages and enjoy trying to speak to the people I meet abroad in their own language.
I’m looking for a partner who’d like to travel and explore new places. I don’t mind whether we go back-packing, motor homing, skiing or sailing or in style - but ideally not cruises apart from aboard a yacht.
I am a regular sailor, rower and skier. Perhaps the opposite to a couch potato! However I enjoy cooking and entertaining at home as well as gardening. I guess I'm a home maker....I don’t watch much TV.
I have a sunny nature. Sense of humour is really important to me. By this I don’t mean jokes but the ability to laugh at oneself. I like to have a laugh, often at myself. It would be wonderful if you do too…. I am motivated by fun and excitement and adventure. I’m positive and reliable and generally confident.
I enjoy the sea, the mountains and the countryside. I am active, fun loving, very adaptable and rather intrepid. Above all : positive.
I also enjoy art, the theatre, concerts, opera and ballet.

I’m hoping to meet an active and adventurous man. Great if he enjoyed sailing and skiing too.. however this is not the be all and end all ! I am prepared to compromise and don't have a list for a photofit picture !
No doubt you are involved in other activities and perhaps I might be able to join in with some of these? I don’t yet play golf.

I am looking for a “real relationship” and not something casual. It’s a long time since my divorce so I’m over it now. However you also need to be past hurting from your previous relationship too, if we are to form a happy relationship.
