My friends describe me as warm, giving and kind. I have a full life already with lots of interests and I am still working part-time.
I love most genres of live music - in particular, j have just had my ears opened to Scottish folk- fabulous!! I love theatre and movies (only on a big screen, tho’). I love singing, and I enjoy a good old dance on occasions.
I enjoy being outside, walking, cycling and exploring and have been learning to row for the past year. I have two dogs who take up a certain amount of my time, but sadly, they’re not the kind of dogs I can take everywhere I go, so being spontaneous can be tricky!!
I like seeing new places, but I don’t like fancy hotels.I like delicious food, and love cooking.I’m not a fan of designer labels…..nor of social media, other than to make arrangements.
I have two fantastic kids, now pursuing their own lives far away, which is why I am building a life for myself down here on the South Coast. I have moved jobs, moved house and put down new roots so I’m hoping to get chatting to people who are within easy driving distance.
I’ve reached a stage in life where I am happier in myself and more carefree than I’ve ever been…that’s because I’ve worked out what’s important… and I’m at last leading a life that is authentically my own. Someone with a similar outlook to join me sometimes would be amazing.
