My favourite things are 'laughter learned of friends and gentleness." That and cooking with balsamic vinegar, Shakespeare and massages... not necessarily in that order!
We all contain multitudes, so it’s hard to describe yourself, I think. But, to give you a bit more of an idea, here are some Things I Have Done Recently:
• Read a wide variety of books – murder mysteries, literary fiction, autobiography, the whole caboodle.
• Cooked a lot – curry, homemade pizza, risotto and also some more exotic options like tamago gohan and steak tartare.
• Lost my phone a lot. I do lose my phone a lot. (See also keys, purse, hairbrush… most objects, really).
• Been late quite a bit. I really try to be on time, but I struggle.
• Daydreamed. I’m a huge daydreamer.
• Painted the sole of my shoes red because I think that they look good that way.
• Discovered, and loved, the ballet Serenade.
• Started an essay on law reform.
• Gone to a theme park.
• Helped decide legal cases involving a lady who couldn’t stop sweating, a schizophrenic who thought I was the Whore of Babylon and a chap who had fractured his male member.
• Given a speech at a friend’s wedding in Sweden.
• Cleared out some of my clutter, Marie Kondo style.
• Played the video game Two Point Hospital. Too much. It’s really funny.
• Worked on my French, using apps.
• Started to upcycle a bedside table.
