Actually, not that good a sailor, but I get there in the end, no sea stories, don't want to put you of ! Fit, adventurous traveller. To give an idea, in the last three years I've been lucky enough to get to Belize, Oz and sail from Ipswich to Plymouth ( solo) Wings a bit clipped at present with a lot of work needed on my new house, should be further on but I'm easily side tracked. I love to read, theatre, popular Opera, Radio 4, day dreaming, walking on Dartmoor and Bodmin and although I enjoy cooking I look forward to eating out, although not so much in the evening ..... it's not the same on your own is it. Very practical. Good at listening, relaxed about most things now that I'm retired.
Complex and Simpatico, non mercurial, confident enough to build my own house whilst living in Kent but also able to cry at films, books, R4 and Mimi's story. One of my most memorable moments ... a dive with giant mantas in the North Pacific. My heroes ... Jeanne Socrates and any one who makes a difference. Not interested in sport, not even boat racing! A good conversationalist and a good listener ... having four sisters may be the clue here !! A mixture of clumsy and gentle, a realist but aware of Emily Dickenson et al.

You ideally will be fit enough for walks on the West Country Moors and coastal paths and lazy enough to occasionally sit in a country pub for hours putting the world to rights. Aware of what's going on in the world and wise enough not to worry too much about it. Practical is good, and an artistic streak would be nice as I love Art Galleries and the occasion Museum. Not too obsessed with modern technology, you will prefer talking to texting. Hopefully your a traveller more than a tourist, the Old Silk road preferable to the A303 .. you get the idea ! Hopefully good with words, books and a love of conversation, good food and wine and not taking life too seriously.
