About him
No oil painting, but cheerful, humorous, warm, positive, direct, purposeful, straightforward, adventurous, and occasional risktaker. Qualified accountant (booh!), but never in public practice (hurrah!). Always been self-employed (= nobody in their right mind would employ me). Been involved in the wine and brewing trades most of my working life. Lucky to have enjoyed 20 years in historic motor racing.
Poleaxed at being widowed after 52 years, yet utterly determined to kick on - or as Churchill often added to his wartime memoranda, "K.B.O." (= Keep Buggering On - not literally, by the way!). Having said that, have a massive amount to be hugely grateful for (not least that marriage), having seen things, been things and done things that 99% never get the chance to.
Also involved in restoration of historic buildings and old cars, and currently building fifth campervan (for the fun of it!). Planning to travel in it round Europe, (particularly northern Europe), and the UK, from time to time.

Someone who is warm, fun-loving, un-fussy, easy going, tolerant of my foibles (!). Someone not afraid to answer back if they get their leg pulled. Helps if you can muck in (campervan travel can be less than luxurious on occasion). A deal-breaker? - being a prima-donna!
