About her
Fun to be with .. or so I’ve been told! Tactile and giving and enjoy a good banter! I’m kind and gentle but I can get very passionate about something I think is unjust. I am creative and enjoy new experiences that give me excitement and opportunity. Last year I spent three months and dog sitting and working on an organic farm as well as travelling through beautiful Italy. My Italian was scant even though I had tried to learn it through Duolingo but I managed and it gave me a renewed confidence in my ability to get from A to B (something in the past I was made to feel I would never be able to do!!) . I find a smile and a few pleasant gestures get you a long way! At the moment I am Down Under having spent a few weeks with my brothers in Perth and Sydney before travelling solo to Tasmania and now in New Zealand doing Workaways and housesitting. It has been challenging but incredibly rewarding and meeting life long friends info all ages has given me renewed optimism for the future. I have mostly been staying in hostels amongst young people and although I could be their grandmother we have gelled embracing each others experiences and outlook. However I would enjoy the journey with someone! ( if only to carry my heavy load now and again… ha ha!!)
I love walking and exploring the Devon countryside of moorland and stunning coastline which has been my home for a relatively short period . I enjoy swimming, the arts, music and conversation . I ran a gallery for 5 years which I curated and from which I ran art workshops. I love animals and particularly horses,dogs and cats
All I miss is someone to share this with, chat about the day, enjoy good food and a glass or two of wine and have some fun …..
