I’m warm and friendly, a good listener, compassionate, curious, open-minded and take pleasure in solitude as well as togetherness. I’m passionate about my work which involves helping people to develop - and in the process developing myself. Good communication and personal growth are important to me and I value honesty and kindness above all.
I enjoy culture - live music (broad tastes but jazz is my favourite), theatre, dance, art exhibitions, cinema. Being in nature recharges my batteries and I love cycling, walking and hiking in the great outdoors. Also adore travel and engaging with different cultures. I have been a Francophile for many years and spent a lot of time in France.

I’m a bit wary of the word “ideal” as none of us are that! I hope to find someone who shares my high regard for good communication, honesty, kindness and personal growth. I also value compassion, curiosity, open-mindedness and warmth both in myself and others.
As trust is essential for a relationship of any depth I would also be looking for integrity (words and behaviour that are broadly in alignment) and a degree of reliability.
