About her
I am happiest when I learn, explore, and discover something new, or the endlessly new aspects of something very old. Life to me is an adventure; there are not many areas in life that I am not interested in (except for TV & shallow entertainment culture).
I always need to know - not only 'Why?', but especially 'How?' I love change, uncertainty, adventure, the edges of knowledge/the unknown. In everything, I am first & foremost guided by my heart and intuition and I have a lot of love to give. My outlook on life is optimistic, positive, playful, and serious. I love to read, think, walk (especially on the Camino de Santiago), and write, practice Iyengar Yoga (irregularly) & meditate. Time in Nature is essential to me. I cut my hair myself -consequently have bad hair days on most days :-) ! Am utterly imperfect. A mediocre cook. A nomad- have lived in many different countries/on different continents; two life-changing years in Nepal/Kathmandu have touched me the most. I have two gorgeous sons both of whom have left home. I am currently based in Edinburgh/Scotland and am busy plotting/exploring where I might move next.
Art used to be my oxygen. For over two decades, I worked as an artist/sculptor and explored questions from philosophy, science, & psychology in wood. When my life fell apart a few years ago I reemerged as a transformational coach. I now enable others to create a life without regrets & make a greater positive impact on this world. I absolutely LOVE my work.
With our world on fire, just continuing life as if this wasn't happening is not an option. l am trying daily to find ways to contribute to the radical paradigm shift that this world so urgently needs. Reading all these profiles here I am struck by how little this appears to feature in people's lives. I can't imagine being with someone uninterested in making a positive impact.
profile pic 11/24, others 2022-24, elephant pic 2016 but it still sums up something essential about me :-), in white trousers 3/24 (am 56 now btw)
About her ideal match
The man not a 'normal bloke' - but has a mission/a greater purpose and leads a dynamic life driven by curiosity and passion; someone warm, loving, funny, complex, adventurous & deep, with a bright intellect and spirit and a big horizon who loves to love, is able to commit fully, enjoys getting older (I find any attachment to youthfulness ridiculous), loves to explore ideas, loves music, nature, silence & solitude and probably owns too many books. Someone positive, educated, sensual/tactile, interested & open (with a dating profile that goes WAAAY beyond 'love nights in & out' & watching box sets curled up on the sofa' and that does NOT include dead animals - SIGH!).
ps: I have short hair (that'll never change), brown eyes and am nearly 57 - so if -according to your profile- you are looking for long hair, blue eyes and someone 15 years or so years younger than me - just why would you reach out to me?
