About him
This is tough - I am a tad on the shy side. OK, deep breath.....my friends would say I am kind and generous, but also quiet and reserved. Always in the kitchen at parties. I have a rather dry sense of humour, but people seem to like it. Fond of the odd Dad joke though - so my grown-up sons tell me (through the groans). I love dogs, mine especially of course. Partial to a pub, cafe or restaurant. I spend most of my time afloat on the canal: can't beat a quiet, scenic mooring and a glass of wine on a long summer evening.

I would like to meet someone who is genuine, trustworthy and reliable, but also funny and a bit cheeky. However, I really don't think there is such a thing as an 'ideal' match. It's what you don't expect that can be lovely, so why have a template?
