I am a successful film professional, Bafta member, on the management board of a film organisation and an artist looking for someone with similar interests and traits.
Don't get confused by Croatian as I have been living in London for 44 years and am one of those British more British than the British. The heaven for me is Sunday (or Saturday) papers with English breakfast, browsing around Hatchards, sitting outside a patisserie (maybe squashed outside Maison Bertaux) and watching people pass by, stroll through galleries, a play at the NT (or similar) and dinner at Brat or Bocca di Lupo, maybe Delaunay or Chiltern Firehouse, play cards, do crosswords... Of course I can cook though my previous partner had a chef who cooked the most extravagant meals and I wasn't allowed in the kitchen.
My partner died three years ago at home, 8 months after diagnosis, surrounded with a lot of my love. It does take it out of one, the grieving, and I suppose that's why I haven't interacted with anyone here yet, since I joined more than a year ago. I just wasn't ready. Now is 23:17 on 9th February 2025 and after two M&S Cherry Liqueurs I have decided to make an effort and find love, maybe even in time for Valentine's dinner. It is nice waking next to someone and sharing all those little things we love.
I am fun, loving, warm, kind, intelligent, generous and smart. I have a daughter who is a mathematician doing a PhD in Zurich, my brother lives in Austria, in the summer I paint in Tuscany and if you had a link to, or love for any of these it would be amazing. We could drive around, play loud music and be jolly.
I love theatre. The Motive and the Cue, Lyonesse, Leopoldstadt, The Lehman Trilogy…
I also love classical music. Prefer Radio 3 to Classic FM but welcome any attempts to conversion.
Perhaps Glyndebourne in the summer and Dolomites in the winter?
