I love living in the countryside but having lived in the city I'm also very comfortable going out to great restaurants, cinema, theatre and galleries.
My life is pretty busy with work, friends and family and keeping fit but I'm just as happy spending time at home enjoying a bit of peace and quiet watching a good movie/box set, eating great food and enjoying a nice G 'n T.
Having spent most of my professional life cooking for others, I love entertaining but also really appreciate being cooked for.
I play a bit of tennis 'tho I'm not as good as I'd like to be and would love to learn padel tennis at some stage.
I also love a good walk, preferably with a nice pub at the end of it (That's my Father's fault!)
I'm a positive and cheery person with a pretty good sense of humour and a good dollop of kindness and fairness thrown in.

Hmmm this is not easy trying to describe yourself without sounding pretty full of it so not enjoying this bit!
I lived overseas in the 80's which I think gave me a good sense of adventure and I enjoy travel when life allows it.
I've moved further South from London over the last few years but enjoy that I can hop back up there pretty easily from where I now live to see family and friends and get my blast of culture.
Overall I'd say I was a pretty balanced and grounded person who enjoys life and good company, but also happy with my own.

I'm hoping to meet someone that I can feel completely comfortable with, whether its just chilling out or going to something smarter.
I try to live a healthy life so would like to be with someone who feels the same way - definitely no smokers!
Someone with a good fashion sense is important to me, but in the sense of jeans and t-shirts/jumpers but who can also throw on a well-fitted suit for the right occasion.
Kindness, honesty and integrity is very important to me on both sides as is laughter and humour.
I enjoy travel and want to experience more, mixing culture with great food and some well-deserved R&R when I get the chance, so hoping to find someone with a similar outlook on life.
