About her
I’m a full of beans kind of girl leading a pretty busy life. I’m warm, creative, emotionally intelligent, inquisitive and ……. loads of fun. A daily dollop of laughter is essential to my well-being. I try to be kind, caring and sensitive to the needs of others. Now fully retired, I volunteer with blind and VI people helping them to access fully inclusive lives like escorting them on holidays abroad. I’ve also enjoyed the challenge of training guide dog puppies - not all successes.
Laughing comes easily but I also have a serious side to my nature. Since uni days I’ve continued with my love of history and have recently contributed to local research projects involving hours in the archives. Although essentially a city girl I get a buzz from nature and never happier than going for a long walk in the countryside.
I’m fortunate to be fit and healthy and take good care of myself. You’ll often find me on the golf course, playing padel tennis or working out. I’d do more cycling if my map skills weren’t so poor - help needed.
That’s enough about me. I’m a confident chatty girl who’s better talking on the phone than trying to describe myself in words.

It’s impossible to describe my ideal match. Surprise me. I like intelligent men who can see humour in most situations. Definitely have to be young at heart and open to new ideas. So still learning and curious about the world. Let’s add in being well read, open-minded, non judgmental and most importantly ….. have a twinkle in their eye. Healthy living which involves regular exercise is also high up on my priority list. I’ve no time for couch potatoes. Good cooks would be welcomed by me.
Have to be tactile, that’s a given. I’m a hugger - any time, any place. To be held in someone’s arms is the best feeling in the world.
Oh, and be confident to wear colour.
