Hi ! Thanks for stopping by to read my dissertation ! This is all new to me and absolutely totally outside of my comfort zone ! Well, what makes me ‘me ‘ ? Born a West London boy, I am now more than happy to be living in the countryside, a short walk from the songs of summer skylarks, but enjoy trips into town for concerts, theatre and sporting events.
I have always been into personal fitness from my earlier years, and have enjoyed happy times scuba diving and training as a martial arts student. My passion for walking and travel has taken me to Japan to climb Mount Fuji and to Tanzania to scale Kilimanjaro, benefiting various Charities.
I currently enjoy playing Table Tennis at local league level, with a martial arts attitude! Regular Pilates classes are another torture I subject myself to !
Being (happily !) partially retired, I currently volunteer for a local Air Ambulance charity, mostly involving bucket rattling at Classic car shows & other fundraisers.
I also enjoy going out to eat, as long as there is a good vegetarian menu or options. I have music playing in my home for most of the day, Baroque to Beatles, Finzi to Prince - it’s all here !
I have been told that I am funny ( in a good way, hopefully! ) and am a ‘happy chappy’, honest, well mannered, practical, loyal and loving, come rain or shine !

Someone who has the same ‘life values’ and parallel outlook ( well, loosely !) as my own.
Laughing a lot and enjoying each other’s company, whether walking together in the sun or rain or sharing a sofa watching a movie. The need to go off grid from time to time - just packing a bag and taking off to somewhere with blue skies, just to feel the sun on our backs.
Someone who is curious about the Natural World and enjoys getting out to explore it - more Attenborough than Love Island !
Happy to muck in to get the dirty jobs done, but enjoys dressing up for a night out or social occasion.
