I have a good life! With a job that I love doing, two wonderful, talented, independent daughters who I have a great relationship with..
I'm full of contradictions and so it makes it difficult to decide the predominant traits. But I am definitely a confident, intelligent, laid back , positive, happy, interesting, interested, successful, family orientated, ambitious romantic and would ideally be seeking similar.
I love travel and look forward to someone who might also enjoy exploring both in the UK and beyond. I love live music and I also play in a band in which I sing and play an instrument. I am honest and look for the same in a partner. I enjoy going to events, eg the theatre, live gigs etc. I enjoy cooking, my garden, cycling (not lycra-clad: I have an electric bike and cycle in the local area for fun and fresh air). I'm always ready to learn more, or find a new/different perspective on something that I thought I knew already. I enjoy a good chatter about things important in this world as well as simple conversation about nothing in particular, with smiles. I am kind, thoughtful, and funny (at times absolutely hilarious, or at least I think so!)
I love fabulous views, mountains, rivers, lakes. I'm interested in modern history and enjoy going to places that have historical interest. I am not likely to be found lounging on a busy beach with 100s of other people. I like to explore.
I like to sing along to the radio. I do love a pub quiz, or going to to see a live show. I also like to do absolutely nothing, just read a book or stop and simply smell the flowers.
Light up my life by just being yourself, light up the room just by walking into it and catching my eye, give me a smile that's only for me. I might just do that for you too..

Intelligence and humour are very important to me. I enjoy good conversation and hope to hear new ideas, different perspectives and about things I never even knew. Ideally, he will be good-humoured and has had some life experiences that add to his depth of character.
I'd like to meet a man who has a need to make his good life even better to compliment my need for the same in return. He should be a good conversationalist, a listener, have his own ideas, points of view and, just as much, enjoy the sweet silent times where we are simply comfortable with each other's company.
