I am pretty sane (I think), like to laugh and find out what makes people tick. I am certainly a positive person and like to think it isn’t too late to find a friend/romance.
My interests are varied: galleries, theatre, the countryside, walking, riding, reading, concerts. I go to the gym to keep fit but prefer walking in nature.
I spent most of my career working world-wide, and until a few years ago, I had my own company. I decided to wind it down and stop moving around so much. I re-trained as a psychotherapist and I work part-time with children and adults, teach and supervise and volunteer for a couple of children's charities. I don't need to work but I like to keep busy, but I do have time to meet someone special.

No one is perfect but a man that is able to self reflect (has some self awareness), definitely a sense of humour.
Happy around animals and in the country (although I live in London - I am planning to move out at some point - just not sure where yet). I have been fortunate to have travelled extensively for work so he would, ideally, also be well travelled.
Kindness and generosity of spirit are important to me. Meanness and rudeness are a big turn off - as is smoking.
I am fairly independent and not ready to completely retire yet so he would need to be comfortable with that.
