I am kind, caring (about people, pets and planet), love to be around pleasant people happy to talk about their day and any interesting topic. I love to inspire people, and make a difference. I am interested in many things, including gardening, garden design, botany, decor, DIY, upcycling. I'm an academic over and beyond my day job and do research that I am always happy to explain about with those who are interested.

My ideal match would be taller than me, professional, with a good sense of humour; should be kind and caring and respectful. I would not expect him to embrace my research studies, but simply to be happy to engage and discuss interesting points of human nature or the artistic spirit that comes up. An enquiring mind, that's it.
Dealbreakers would be smokers who wish to continue to smoke around me or who smoke in their car. Similar, if you're carless and expect me to do all the driving, that's a no. I've worked hard at becoming independent and don't want to be bossed around or possessed by anyone. Gentle support is all I need. A deal-breaker would also be for me to be friendzoned almost immediately. I'd love to know sooner if I am not the one for you.
