Still plenty of ideas and energy in the tank as well a lifestyle that keeps me fit and healthy...I am a man of open spaces, nature and sunshine...adjusting to a life back here in the UK (I had forgotten just how much it rains!!) and at the moment a life without a dog or two or a good woman, so very much missing the tactile warmth and presence of both.
If I could have the ideal place to live it would be to buy a huge piece of land away from the madding crowd and rewild it, complete with sea views from the deck of course!!
I am a pretty down to earth, grounded sort of guy, no hidden agendas, no filters on the camera!! LOL..that is pretty obvious...
I live in a small community down here in West Wales which suits me...enjoy things like backgammon, crib, chess (really rubbish), music, riding my old Guzzi, riding my e-bike, walks, yoga, a pint at the pub, roasting coffee, growing things, having a cosy space, warm sunshine, reading, making things and dreaming...
If I am honest, I have very little faith that I will find you here, mostly because it feels a little like mail order love...perhaps the sheer act of writing this will be enough to solidify my request...Qui sait...

One of the lovely things of having lived and loved a life is that there are all these images, ideas and felt experiences that, as a collective hold the essense of the person you are and the other you seek...to then put all that down in a text is both difficult and slightly daunting...perhaps it speaks a little of how this medium of seeking a person who fills such a special place is, in itself a difficult task...aren't we suppose to bump into each other whilst distracted by life, not by filling in an algorithm...however, I digress...in truth I am looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with, a true friend, someone who gets me and I her, someone who is up for the journey...
Whilst I am pretty open to most people in this life I really could not imagine creating any of this with someone who thinks that Brexit was a good thing or that the Tories are on the right track....sadly, I can't get a sense that Labour offer any answers either, if I had to choose one person that seems to speak with both compassion and sense it would be Caroline Lucas. However, until the voting system is changed to something fairer and more democratic like MMP then we are stuck with this binary choice....I do like politics!
Gee, enough of that....as with most things, it is the chemistry, that felt spark, shared sense of each other, sort of a mix between excitement and nervousness that only occurs when two people meet. Here's hoping....x
Perhaps not as a musical masterpiece but Steve Harley's Friend for life is a great summation of what we should have been looking for in the beginning!
