I consider myself a creative person. I studied sculpture at Art School and later had my own business designing and making stained glass windows, I also taught this as well as sculpture and life-drawing... I later became interested in IT and taught this for a number years, now retired… I still do life-drawing, as well as build and maintain websites on a freelance basis… but I’m not tied to this…
I love trave... I have travelled in Europe, Majorca, Seville, Prague, Sophia (Bulgaria), Rome, Florence, France and Cyprus... Have explored Sri Lanka, I’ve been to Cairo, as well as the Red Sea area, and to Syria - Petra and Damascus... Travelled to Tunisia and to Morocco, where a have a friend in Fez. Have holidayed on the Turkish coast, drove inland from Selcuk to Konya and visited Istanbul where I was interviewed on Saba TV. I’ve driven from LA around California and I have been to Cuba, Dominican Republic and have relatives in Jamaica. I’ve visited and have friends in Russia. One of my most memorable trips was to Uzbekistan. There are still plenty of other places I’d like to go to…
My wife was a musician, a classically trained pianist, who passed away due to cancer. Her friends describe me as being warm hearted… I consider myself an easy-going person, open minded, adventurous, and have a good sense of humour...
