Having lived for several years in Italy, firstly Calabria and later Toscana has greatly influenced and widened my horizons. I view life from a different perspective and understand the difficulties that ‘outsiders’ often feel. This has enabled me to comprehend, support and empathise with disadvantaged individuals and families from a range of backgrounds during my working life.
I travel frequently in Europe to Italy - I’ve been there twice this year so far and Greece again two visits this year. My profile photo was taken in 2024 the others on holidays last year in Ithaca, Kefalonia, Matera, and eating my favourite cheese with wine in Livorno 2023.
My family includes two beautiful daughters, four wonderful grown up grandchildren and an adorable little great grandson are the most important people in my life and my best friends. I know, I am indeed, blessed.
