My friends would say I’m an outgoing, easygoing, sociable woman who loves a good joke. I play golf regularly, love to ski and when I get the chance love to lie on a beach, I love to dance. My family and my home are important to me, I’ve always been a capable woman doing my own decorating and gardening, pretty handy in the kitchen and enjoy entertaining. Widowed in 2022, my son and grandchildren live over 2 hours away, so I spend a lot of time on my own. I have a nice group of friends but they are mostly couples enjoying their own retirement. I’m beginning to realise there must be more to life than gardening, decorating and cleaning!! I’ve travelled a bit but know there is more to see, but would prefer not to do it alone! I do a bit of volunteer work in the local community cafe. I like going to the cinema and concerts and really enjoy going out for meals with friends. I don’t have any pets but if this doesn’t work for me I may have to get a cat or a dog!
