Where to begin...I'm gorgeous of course. Loving,sensitive, generous and kind, attractive, intelligent...and modest to boot!
Seriously I'm happy with myself, a passionate lady with a big smile and a warm heart.
I'm slim and petite with dark curly hair. I've many wonderful people in my life and like nothing better than the company of good friends.
Love Literary Festivals at Dartington Hall - the people I meet are as interesting as the speakers. Road trips also excite me. Some of my favourites were to California,Colorado,New England in the fall, and the Rocky Mountains of Bannff and Jasper. NZ is a place I want to return to. So much more to explore!
Poetry; drama; philosophy & ethics, all inspire me. "Under Milk Wood," by Dylan Thomas, is a particular favourite, especially when read in the dulcet tones, of Richard Burton! I'm a fan of Michael Sandel, Ken Robinson and Ted talks. And 'How to Stop Time by Matt Haig' was full of wisdom
If I could lunch with Tom Hanks, or Robin Williams, I'd be rather delighted! And I wouldn't say no to Ted Hughes either!
Michael McIntyre , Graham Norton, Dawn French and Ruby Wax - make me laugh out loud. Laughter is such a wonderful thing. Even better when shared.
My musical tastes are eclectic: Ella Fitzgerald; Billie Holliday; Katie Melua; Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones. Chris Isaak; Joe Jackson; Deep Purple;The Doors; Eno, Simon and Garfunkel and Elvis. All can be found in my CD drawer.
I love the buzz of new places with lots still to see. NZ was a fabulous adventure! "The Canadian Rockies my favourite so far! Too many sights, too little time" to paraphrase Mae West!
My friends have described me as "vibrant", Effervescent" "Interested and interesting" and "A Woman of Substance" Naturally I slipped them a fiver but aren't they lovely? If you'd like to meet them - have a sense of humour and laughing eyes and like me a lust for life, I'd love to hear from you
