About her
I have lived and worked as a teacher in six different countries over a twenty year period.
Do you have a favourite country and what is its attraction for you?
I belong to a book club and have read a wide range of genres through this group which is also a social venue with plenty of home made scones and cakes!
I am interested in the arts and enjoy visiting galleries, museums and theatres within London and further afield. I am happy to meet someone who cannot hit the high notes in opera but has their own rewarding hobbies and interests both together or independently.
If some of this sounds a bit heavy I have a very light hearted part to my personality as well as I enjoy walking close to nature which I find regenerative and inspiring, dancing and I attend a wide range of classes at a local leisure centre.
I am a people person so however good these activities are within their own right they cannot fill what having that one special person in my life could offer. Ideally it would be good to have someone to perhaps travel with occasionally and to share quality time together.
An essential ingredient on my wish list is to meet someone who has a really good sense of humour who can enjoy the lighter brighter side of life with me and make me laugh. Friends often say that I am a story teller and can see the ridiculous side of life.
I was widowed five years ago after a long loyal happy marriage but am now ready to move on to a new beginning. Ideally I would like to meet someone who possesses compassion, honesty and possibly that mutual elusive chemistry. I am in my early seventies with long blonde highlighted hair and slim and attractive with a youthful approach to life.
