About him
Hi. I'm 58 years old with a 58 year old sense of humour. I'm 6 foot 4 tall with average build and balding grey hair.
I have my daughter living with me, we have 2 cats, i also like dogs but never had one due to my previous career which involved a lot of travel.
Some of my friends have told me that there are certain things you should and shouldn't write in these profiles, but that's not how i work. So here we go.
As i said I'm an engineer by trade, that means i work with my hands and I enjoy my work.
I have a close group of friends, some of whom I've known since school even though through time our lives and careers have diversified, we've stayed in touch and are only a phone call away when needed.
Hobbies and interests are mainly engineering based, i like tinkering with cars and am currently rebuilding a Land Rover. I also enjoy trying to keep my garden looking nice, although I'm no Alan Titchmarsh.
Sport wise, I like motorsport (i grew up in and around motor sport) and rugby. As for health and fitness, the last time i was in a gym was when i was at school, but I do keep pretty busy and active, and i do like walking.
Music and comedy wise. I like classic rock and mostly 60s, 70s and 80s music plus various other. For comedy it has to be the greats, Billy Connelly, Monty Python, Mel Brooks etc. My sense of humour has often been described as old school, well i did grow up in the 70s.
My outlook on life is, I take it as i find it. I try not to stress about anything and If it doesn't bother me i don't worry about it. I'm loving and caring to those closest to me. I like physical contact, I'm a hugger.
I will add some more photos when i can find some of just me. They are few and far between because I don't consider myself to be very photogenic.
