About her
I’ve always believed the glass is half full – and preferably filled with something bubbly! Life doesn’t always go as planned, but I’ve learned to make the best of whatever comes my way.
I’m perfectly happy in my own company, but I do miss having that special someone to share the little things with – a sunset walk, a silly joke, or just putting the world to rights over a glass of wine.
I’m fairly fit and love being outdoors – gardening, tennis, walking and slow jogging (the “slow” part is important). I eat healthily most of the time, except when faced with Lindt Lindor or a Magnum – some temptations are just too much.
I love cooking and thoroughly enjoy having friends or family around for a meal. Chatting and laughing over a meal together is definitely one of life’s pleasures.
Evenings by the fire with a cat purring on my lap and a good Netflix box set are my idea of heaven. I also unwind by dabbling in watercolour painting and am also a bit of a techie – I’ve built websites on WordPress. I’m calm, organised, and love animals and nature. I have installed some hedgehog houses in my garden, and I’m proud to say I now have three regular little visitors who come to eat their late-night suppers!
