I’m an affectionate, caring guy who doesn’t take life, or myself, too seriously. I’m happiest outdoors, whether walking or cycling with a friend across the moors and along the coast. I've had unforgettable adventures sea kayaking thousands of miles, exploring the coastline of the South West, Wales, Scotland, and its islands. I tend to be more of a leader/organiser than a follower, something shaped by my background as a private pilot and mountain leader.
When I’m not out in nature, I love soaking up the cultural energy of cities, reconnecting with family and friends, or embracing a simpler life filled with creativity, gardening, and cooking a great meal together.
I’m curious by nature and always open to new experiences - there are still so many places to explore. I’m comfortable around horses, dogs, cats and of course people, in just about any setting. I really enjoy learning from others and exchanging ideas.
