About her
I have been described as practical, reasonably realistic, as someone who has generally handled herself well, who will try most things once, who is a good listener and that I have been considered brave and adventurous to travel solo. I guess that the biggest compliment is that I have been described as a good auntie and been chosen twice as a godmother.
I probably live quite simply but meaningfully hopefully. I don't like the way that technology always seems to be making life more stressful and complicated but that's not to say that I don't try and keep up with it.
Each day of mine has some basic yoga, Radio 2, a park walk, dumbells, Duolingo (ex language student keeping my hand in), social media, meditation, reiki, reading, knitting and Sky TV/Netflix. I like podcasts, to cook, garden and visit the local National Trust, plan outings, holidays and keep in touch with friends, family and my godchildren. I am beginning the process of becoming a verified reiki healer.
I am not single and childless by choice. I have just done my best to get on with it regardless because I have found it difficult to find the right man for me at the right time. However, I still have hope that I can share the good things that a man and I have created in our lives up until now.
About her ideal match
In a practical sense, I need someone local who isn't more than an hour away by car.
I need someone who cheers me on and who supports what I do.
Also someone who understands that whilst I am full of ideas and usually have a plan that I also need to rest.
Personality wise, someone neurotypical and who can lightly socialise. I occasionally go out to quality restaurants with friends and family and enjoy good pub grub. We're eaters and drinkers but not to excess I don't think and we also keep healthy.
I also need someone who enjoys and plans for travel but who is happy to go at a gentle pace. Someone who is not interested in travel or who needs a hiking/cycling buddy would be a deal breaker.
I like the sights, museums and being by the beach. I don't need to go off the beaten track and need a mid range level of comfort.
Finally, someone even tempered, respectful, reliable, sensible, organised, decent,
good conversationalist and communicator.
