My friends and family say I'm sociable, giving, grounded, tolerant and empathetic…..with a slight introversion.
I've had a hectic retail management career which included living and working overseas. Now its time to invest in me....and someone special...and share my positive outlook!
I would say I'm a home bird with very adventurous tendencies! Outside the home I like all aspects of the great outdoors. Walking coasts and mountains when I get the chance and getting into local countryside frequently. Of equal importance, I enjoy a little culture with city breaks featuring theatre, museums and galleries etc. And travel overseas for all this is part of the plan.
At home I like reading (including news and current affairs), quality tv drama, most sports and I'm improving my cooking skills each week. I suppose some would say I'm a foodie, enjoying good food and wine, which I invest in. Finally, I have found my garden (even if small) and look to create an oasis next year!!

I would like to find someone who is ultimately looking for a long term relationship, but happy to start on a slow track, even maybe as friends.
I'm divorced but have not been in a relationship for a few years and so, although adventurous and fun in many ways, would look to get to know someone before full commitment.
I'm very open to personality types but someone who loves home life and family would be of importance.
As mentioned, I love all aspects of the great outdoors and I'm still physically very active and I would like to continue to enjoy some great long walks in fabulous countryside and coasts in this country and overseas. I haven't tried Yoga or Pilates but I would love to be introduced to these to help keep a fitness. I do visit the gym but I'm not a geek (even if there is a health focus - no smoking please), so maybe someone who would enjoy sharing some time there?
I'm hoping that any new partner loves the kitchen as much as I do. So someone who enjoys cooking (and the odd kitchen disco!), along with good food and wine (at home and out).
In terms of culture, I do enjoy museums, theatre, cinema during city breaks, and quality tv drama at home (there is some good stuff!).
While I do love sport I can be very tolerant of someone who finds that less appetising! If you love your garden then your skills and capabilities may help me in the coming months. Creativity is lacking in this department!
Finally, I would love to find someone with an opinion. Someone who can articulate their views. And someone who enjoys a good chat about diverse subjects but who also enjoys the sound of silence....and can be independent vocationally, financially and emotionally….although I’m a good listener and give a good hug!!
