I maybe old but I retain a desire to live life rather than just let life happen. That is why I am trying Saga connects to see if I can generate a close friendship and be able to share thoughts and activities.
Slow walking is one daily activity whether I am in the countryside near Cosby, which is beautiful, or in London which is full of interesting places, or in the Lake District where I own a lodge and stay regularly through the summer. I read and run a non fiction book club. I write and I have iconoclastic friends who are always up for a stimulating conversation. My children and grandchildren provide enormous entertainment but live in London and Inverness.
In Cosby where I live I have many close friends who I see and meet up with but they are typically married. I would like to share with someone who is available conversation, fun and meals out, theatre, film or music.
I have travelled a lot and I like visits to other parts of the UK or to interesting places abroad. I am interested in meeting people and I am involved with Homes for Ukraine and I have two young Ukrainian guests living with me.
