About her
I am no longer young. I have lived and loved over many years. I value those years, good or bad, because they have taught me who I am.
I might be good to know because I have much to offer to the right person. However, like marmite, I'm not to everyone's taste. This is because I am experienced, independent, know my own mind and hold values that are non negotiable.
I'm not that comfortable with engaging in self reflection online. It's not real life. It's only my story and stories emerge over time. Stories need two, a teller and a listener to become meaningful. In my experience, connections are made through seeing and talking. Then, stuff happens and each feels comfortable in sharing about themselves.
I'm aware that in trying to answer some of the questions to the preset options I have replied 'ask me later'. This is not because I have something to hide, It's because any meaningful reply requires some discussion.

I feel perfection is an over rated concept. My wish is to meet a person who is living a good life, who is optimistic and energised about now and the future, who is compassionate, forgiving and mindful of all the challenges that face us and in spite of the downsides, still loves the good things life has to offer. Some shared interests and common ground are essential.
Most importantly, I would only like to meet a lovely person who is within a reasonable distance of me. I don't want any long distance thingies because I don't think that would work.
