What am I like? Hmmm. I'm fairly easy going, laid back some might say a little too much so. I do love a chinwag, but I also conversely love listening to what my lady has to say. It's fair to say that I have a liking for the wireless particularly the "World Service" Radio 4 and radio 4 extra. [don't we all] Question/s Why did Radio 7 change to Radio 4 extra???
Oh, how I miss Nicholas Parsons, can't believe it's been so long since we lost him in 2020. Horrible.
My Bone of contention since the passing of Nicholas is those who have stood in for him on "Just A Minute". I quite favoured the cast of rotating guests: Giles Brandreth [lovely man] Paul Merton, Lucy Porter, Stephen Fry, Jo Brand, Jenny Eclair. All lovely and should have remained on rotation. Am I miffed?? I should say so.
A bad habit of mine, "amongst a few" some might say, huhhh!! I say. I have a tendency to go off on a tangent and end up on another subject. Rambling some might say.
OK I really do have to apologise for not having put up my "mug shots" on this blessed website still trying to work out how on earth this is achieved I know this sounds so USA] this is a testament to watching too many films with actors like Betty Davis, Humphrey Bogart [I made a card aged 12 stating I was a private-eye] Audrey Hepburn, June Allyson [always made me cry] Lauren Bacall [my brother wanted to marry her]
