About him
I'm retired and determined to live live to the full. I keep myself occupied with travel, walking, cycling, skiing and photography. I am equally comfortable walking the fells in outdoor kit or dressing up for fine dining. I enjoy travelling long haul to exotic places, short city breaks and discovering new areas of the UK. In the last couple years I have visited Cambodia, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. I have also had trips to Skye, Uist and Torridon. I much prefer travelling with a partner, sharing a good experience with someone elevates it to great experience.
I can also do the quiet life. Sitting outside listening to the birds or cuddling up on the sofa in front of the log stove, listening to music or watching a film. Maybe having a few drinks at the village pub after a gentle stroll by the river. I enjoy cooking especially together with a partner and like trying out new recipes - sometimes they might even work.

My ideal match would share some of my interests particularly travel and the outside. However I also think that it is healthy if we both have some interests of out own and not try and do everything together. I would like my match to be sociable and comfortable meeting my friends and family. She would enjoy going away for a weekend or if we both dress up and go out for dinner.
