About her
I have a wide range of interests which include music, both classical and modern, the Arts, keep-fit (particularly swimming), dancing and walking. In fact I enjoy most outdoor pursuits.
I tend to dress casually most of the time, but like to dress up when an occasion arises. The 'little black dress' is always at the ready!
Nearly two years ago I fulfilled a forty year dream by moving to France and have never regretted it. I live in the country surrounded by vineyards about eight miles from a bastide town. Life here is perfect! Needless to say the food and wine are superb and driving on deserted roads is a real pleasure.
Inspite of being on my own I seem to live a very busy life, being involved with my daughter and her family, making frequent trips to the U.K., keep fit, swimming, gardening and going on holidays. However, it would be really nice to share interests and go on holidays with a partner. This would not necessarily mean living in each other's pockets, but giving each other space when needed. It would be nice to know that there is someone there who cares.
I always look forward to going on holiday and in the past have visited many different countries and have been on two cruises. However, since moving to France I tend to think that I am on a permanent holiday!
Basically, I am looking for a caring and sincere man who has a real enthusiasm for seeing and doing new things. There is so much out there to see and do, but it's not much fun doing it on your own. I am hoping that I will meet someone who has the same values and interests so that we can enjoy life and have fun whether it be going on holidays or just being together. Life is for living, loving, learning and sharing.
