About her
I'm a country woman but also enjoy the city and well travelled as I grew up abroad. I like country walks with dog, museums, galleries, theatre, cinema & radio 4 and travel when funds allow. I'm intrested in studying with OU or similar, particularly history, archaeology & earth science. I'm family oriented and would like to widen my circle of friends. Since being widowed I miss having that special person with whom to share activities, jokes, a great view, or to discuss a film/book etc. or to give and recieve help and encouragement when needed. I'm quite practical & creative so can make an outfit, put up shelves or mow lawn but also have a tendancy to procrastination! I would appreciate the friendship of someone who could be supportive and give gentle encouragement when needed. Equally I would want to be able to recriprocate and learn to participate in and appreciate new interests or activities or just encourage from the sidelines. I'm up for new experiences; prehaps to get more involved with sports like tennis, sailing, hill walking etc. I'm well spoken, kind, loyal, dependable, easy to get along with if a little shy but can cope with most social situations.
