Normal, well adjusted and solvent. What more could you ask for.... I can even bake a mean cupcake!
I have a demanding job that I love. I value my time away from work. I love to travel but have not had the opportunity recently. I have been to Australia a couple of times - the days I spent snorkling over the Great Barrier Reef are some of the best to date.
I'd like to think I am a domestic godess - in reality I love to cook for friends and rarely bother on nights I'm in alone.
Things you should know:
- I'm terrified by spiders
- I will do the dance of fear if a wasp flies around me
- I can't string together a coherent sentence until I've had two cups of coffee in the morning
- I think my taste in music is fairly mainstream, until I go to concerts and wonder why the rest of the audience have curly teeth, straight hair, eat knitted bread and wear wholemeal jumpers!
- I own a frightening number of Billy Bragg CDs yet my political views are at the other end of the spectrum
- My favourite fragrances are TCP, Vics Vaporub and fresias
- I hate the smell of hospitals - this apparently means I am the ideal companion for friends and family when a trip to hospital is necessary.
(If I ever end up needing a new career I'm well placed to write a guide to hospital coffee shops!)

- I consider aircon or a swimming pool mandatory in hot weather
- My feet are so ticklish even I have problems touching them
- I cannot abide poor grammar - your/you're are not interchangeable, "that" should be used very sparingly etc.

I would like to meet someone to share good, exciting and ordinary times with, someone who makes me smile when I think of them. I'm not a hearts and flowers romantic but the odd simple gesture - a hug for no particular reason, a cup of coffee put in my hand after a hard day - goes a long way.
