About him
Born in Manchester, read law, didn't like it, joined a funny old bank called the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank in 1977, they sent me overseas to Dubai. lived in Cyprus, Hong Kong and most recently in Bangkok for 34 years.
Have came back to my old roots in 2007 to show my daughters, 28 and 23, something of their other roots where there are no maids and drivers, and where a deadline means a deadline. I am very interested in music, golf, religious philosophy and world markets. Back in Thailand now since 2016. I am a great believer in globalisation. It is the only way the poor of the world will get richer. Giving the money away is a guilt trip that produces dependency.
Aside from the above, my passion is cooking, eating and drinking. I love the creative high of preparing a great meal from top to bottom, and always love to find new recipes, and cook them too!!
Love female company!! Would also love to hear from denizens of South East Asia and South Asia too. Totally colour blind though, would be happy to get together with like minded individuals!

Well this is a tough assignment is it not? Where to start? Well as a businessman, I suppose the executive summary is the best, so here goes........I am humorous, outgoing, love a challenge, adore music and food. Party animal in the old days but cooling down a bit these days having reached the grand old (but very active) age of 64.
My perfect match would show something of a mirror in these qualities. However, an understanding of Asia, where I have lived most of my life would be good too!! If you are of Asian Backgound I would especially love to hear from you.
I really do appreciate a lady who takes care of herself. Does not have to be a stunner but an attractive woman who looks after her body is someone I can respect. Aside form the physical stuff, I am not intimidated by intelligent, active women, if you are active in business then even better. I do love music, well most types anyway.......classics, rock, jazz, funk though have to confess I am allergic to Opera, Hip Hop, Gangsta, Folk and Country and Western.
