I think I am lot's of fun to be with, but with a reflective side. I would love to listen to your view of life. Perhaps you are independent, with your own views and humour, and can see the contradictions in life. At the moment, I have a short beard, so if you are beard averse pass me by! About his ideal match
Someone who likes to laugh, but who has a serious side and who can appreciate the importance of truth and love to their well-being. Someone who enjoys travelling and taking occasional risks, knowing there is a close friend to enjoy the experience with them. Love develops in friendship, although it can be sparked in a moment, perhaps of intrigue and disbelief.
At the risk of no replies, I see no reason to be other than what we are. We try and change that in many ways as if the other person we seek in love and friendship is not to be trusted. I am what I am and have been in an enjoyable Autumn of my life. Why wear make up, why change your hair colour and describe it differently - is that you or the you that you think someone wants? Integrity is to yourself as well as to others: just let you yourself grow old, don't let the colourist persuade you that you should dye your hair; suppose men wore wigs, or dyed their hair? We must be equal and independent, sure in our underlying selves to present what we have to be what we are.
That is not the basis of love: you must love the true underlying person. The basis of love is acceptance, trust and honesty, starting at the beginning with discovery, excitement and hope.
