About her
This summer has been very special celebrating my 60th birthday with lots of different events and surprises. My friends and family are extremely important to me and have made it really memorable.
I am a friendly, easy going lady who gets along with most people. I prefer small gatherings rather than huge numbers and don't enjoy small talk (although realise that some-times it's necessary). I walk most weekends in the local countryside and addicted to fresh air, I'm a keen gardener. I play duplicate bridge, enjoy cooking, reading, going to the theatre to name but a few pass times. Equally, I'm just as happy at home with a glass of wine solving cross-words or spending time with family.
Life is an experience and I enjoy learning at every opportunity. I've lived and worked abroad and have had some exciting and varied holidays.
I have a strong work ethic and have little time for lazy negative people. I proudly manage most DIY jobs around the house and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I'm as comfortable in a pair of wellies or trainers as in a nice dress! I'm very patient but not always tolerant, I'm confident but not arrogant. I dislike gossip, conceitedness and sarcasm. I fight for what I believe in and am generous with my time.
