Me- Curvy, intelligent and sociable. I love gigs, restaurants and cinema but also value family life. I work in Education, since chosen job as wine taster for George Clooney seems to be unavailable. I've been single for too long- busy bringing up two children who have now turned into independent adults.
Lived overseas for many years. Fave places to visit: Barcelona, (lived there for 6 years), Hong Kong, (l5 years), Thailand, Bali, Cornwall... I love the sea, used to dive tho not so much now I live in London. Would like to live by the sea again at some point.
Still hope to find that soulmate, but there can be new friends along the way. Although my two children are part of the package, they're now off doing their own thing.
I enjoy London life and all it offers, but quite fond of weekends away in quiet places too. Would like to move out to somewhere with better access to open countryside in the not-too-distant future. Maybe you can introduce me to your neck of the woods.
I have varied interests so no particular type of partner in mind. With time to myself, I like reading, walking, films, theatre, live music, pubs, exhibitions, football...I like dancing, am not bad at salsa but require Dutch courage:) I'm probably a bit of a geek, I like pub quizzes, book club, radio 4. I have a Masters degree and enjoy studying new things. Not really into the gym, sorry.

Hate: Reality TV, spiders, narrow-mindedness, meanness, smoking, arrogance, pessimism. Love: A sandy beach, a mountain view, good company and laughter, travel, reading in companionable silence, most things Spanish, having the right person to curl up with. You don't need to be Brad Pitt, just kind, patient and funny:)

You- Intelligent, optimistic, solvent and happy enough with life. May have grown-up children of your own. Someone at least attempting a good life-work balance, or counting down to retirement? Enjoys: Music, reading, art galleries, nice restaurants, comedy nights, independent movies as well as mainstream; weekends away. Loves cooking? (Ok I can dream...) Probably likes to travel. Any or all of the above. You don't need to have absailed down mountains, or trekked across the Kalahari but it would be great if you are humorous, family-friendly, sociable, and still up for all the fun life offers.
