Hello,
I'm a fairly attractive Englishwoman, and I've returned to Britain after 15 years in the USA.. I would love to meet and settle down with someone marvellous and build a happy future together.
I'm a cultivated person, good company, well travelled and well mannered, warm, romantic, affectionate, sensual, honest and kind. My family, friends and home are important to me and they are a source of great pleasure and delight for which I'm very grateful.
My interests are wide and varied, partly because I try to stay open to new things. I read a lot. I love art and architecture and enjoy visiting museums, galleries and beautiful buildings. I also have some more offbeat interests, but nothing really criminal. I'm interested in current events and I'm politically and socially liberal. I've worked as a journalist for many years, first in Europe, then in Asia and latterly in the USA.
I'm at home in wellies in the countryside but I do like to spend time in the city, too. In general I prefer the theatre to the cinema. I enjoy warm weather but also love the sound of rain on the roof and windows on stormy nights.
I grew up in the country, by the sea, which I love. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful, educated, sophisticated and slightly bohemian family who taught me to enjoy, value and respect the world and the people in it.
I'm quite a happy and optimistic person and so I'm hoping....
P.S. I hate having my photograph taken, so my pictures are rather rubbishy, I'm afraid.
