I'm a fit and healthy retired career woman, half Irish and used to be blonde.
I'm easy going, tactile, affectionate and attentive. An avid reader, and I like short walks in the country or the coast. I like to borrow a dog to take with me if possible. I'm an animal and nature lover, and a keen gardener who loves to cook.
In general I like to be out and about doing things rather than indoors, but on a cold dark evening there's nothing like a bottle of fizz and a DVD. I enjoy the cinema, the theatre and attending live sports events. I have travelled extensively, both for business and pleasure, and love foreign cultures. I am very tolerant of other people's beliefs.

Someone who shares some of my interests would be an advantage, but it's not essential. I'd like him to be active with his own ideas and a willingness to adapt. A healthy appetite would be a distinct plus.
I am a little old fashioned in that I prefer a man to make the first move. An indication of confidence I think.
Too much alcohol is a definite "no" for me. Sorry; can't bear it.
