About her
Sparkling conversation, wit and words will always brighten any day. I'm a bit of a live wire at times: gregarious and vivacious with an eye for the ridiculous; an innate curiosity to learn and a tendency to gravitate towards the quirky, the wry, the witty and profound. I'm often found collapsed in a flurry of giggles and unstoppable laughter.
I wear my heart on my sleeve and enjoy wild, contentious arguments and a hearty handshake when the battle's won (er, no, rarely by me but I'll put up a really good fight and buy you a drink when you win).
My family and friends are the dearest people in my life and I have walked to the earth's edge for them - as they have for me. Other people's hurt will always move me to help, to listen, to encourage and I am able to emote well to the problems of others.
I value fidelity, integrity and trust and can find today's society confused, distressed and sometimes unreachable.
I have a Celtic heart which adores waterfalls, mountains, ancient mossy walls and good, crisp fires - as it does poetry, singing and writing.
A song writer in my free time, I have written (as yet, non-profit making) songs with a friend but the fight to overcome the insurmountable walls of the record industry will continue ... the rock face doesn't frighten me. But sometimes I'll lose the map and may need a sensible, practical nudge back in the right direction.
