About him
I spent 6 months in Africa a long time ago and I like to think I'm sporty. I did a bit of kayaking when I was a student and have recently started it again but this time with a dry-suit :-). I like horse riding too. A group of us used to go down to Wales for riding weekends but the place was sold some time ago :-\ and I've got a motorbike which I inherited from a friend who emigrated to Seattle.
Work is busy, and I enjoy relaxing so I'm probably not as sporty as I'd like to think, but swimming and walking keep me going in-between the kayaking!
I'm not a chef (I doubt I'll be making my own sauces any time soon!) but thanks to M&S I can put together a decent, healthy meal for two (sometimes more). I've got a stable job that I enjoy and I think I'm quite lucky to have Nottingham on one side of me and the Peak District on the other.
I live in Derbyshire and my family live in Sussex\Bristol so I don't see them as often as I'd like but we are close. I've been to Australia a few times and loved Brisbane. I've been to Portugal once and would love to go back again sometime. I like catching up with friends in town over a hot chocolate. Did I mention I grew up in Belgium...the waffles and frites are great!

You're friendly, easy going and kind. You like animals (even if you don't have your own) and you are comfortable with your own company but would like to share. You enjoy little adventures but don't want them all the time. You might not be a canoe fanatic (I'd understand, I sometimes wonder why I do it) but it would be good if you enjoyed horse riding or walks from time to time.
