About him
I'm a caring, trusting and honest person who always tries to see the best in others. My interests are varied, from a love of history (my degree was in medieval history), to architecture, art and literature (in particular Shakespeare). So if these interests also appeal to you, then perhaps it's a good starting point for a friendship, if nothing else. Indeed, I believe the best relationships should always have a good friendship at their core to prove long lasting - well, this has been my personal experience in previous relationships.
I also love travel to Europe (usually weekend city breaks), and the US/Canada. In the past, I've also lived in South Africa for over 5 years, but I never got round to visiting other parts of Africa. At some point in the future I would be keen to visit OZ and the far east.
Other interests are IT (I currently work in this field as an IT professional) and politics - I'm a bit of a question time fan !
In terms of social life, I'm generally up in London most weekends visting old uni friends (generally over a pint or two), or going out with work colleagues. However, I miss evenings in with a partner, sharing a cooked meal and a bottle of red wine in front of the TV - so this also appeals to me.

I'm looking for someone who is attractive/very attractive, but who is also caring and has a good sense of humour. I like a woman who knows her own mind and is not afraid to give an opinion, but also someone who can compromise when necessary. If you're also into things like history, cathedrals, literature, art galleries, Shakespeare (ie. visiting Stratford Upon Avon to watch a Royal Shakespeare performance) and travel - then I'm sure we would get on really well. If we do meet up, even if there is no spark at first between us, who knows - some of my previous relationships started out as friendships based on shared interests.
