What I'm looking for is a woman who's just right for me - and who thinks I'm just right for her.
I juggle a lot of things - writing, making and recording music, exercise, thinking about and discussing what's happening here and in the world more widely. I am putting more time into my music now which has gone from Scottish flavoured jazz with [Removed]Talisker to Siberian music with shamans. In the Bardo State Orchestra I also toured with Tibetan Buddhist monks. I have made over 30 albums, many of which attracted good reviews - but few have had big sales. My interest in spirit music started in Dundee, where my grannie played the piano and gave me encouragement - and it took me all the way to Tuva on the Mongolian border to play with local musicians and learn from shamans.
I keep myself mentally fit by constantly thinking and developing my work, my music, and my relationships. And physically fit by open air exercise each morning [Removed]
I believe in treating others with respect and fairness - not playing stupidly destructive mind-games. I do the best I can in everything I do, while trying to remain modest.
My outlook is adventurous - going with my intuition in all aspects of my life. Joe, a humble cobbler, instilled paternal attention to detail, and fact-checking in me as a child growing up in Dundee.
But profiles and manifestos about relationships don't make them happen. Chemistry - or simply fancying someone passionately - can only be felt face-to-face.
