Done a few interesting things and well read. My main hobby seems to have become doing nothing very much but with a little help I could give it up.
Outdoor type can go along with most things except smoking, talking sport and smelly dogs. I can live with the smaller dogs but NO WAY will I clean up after one.
Running a small professional consultancy but will never be rich unless I win the lottery - which as I seldom remember to buy a ticket is unlikely.
Photographs - They are mostly recent (some Oct 22) and not studio portraits so what you see is pretty well what you get if you wish to see all of them just ask. If I hear no more from you that will be it. One has to be practical - if you do not like them what is there to say?

Outdoor type not minding long walks but still looking good in evening dress.
Preferably a graduate with good artistic taste and dress sense to compensate for my lack of both. Cultured, artistic, affectionate and good with people. Essentially someone with the imagination (or perversity) to be interested in a surveyor who happens to live in a place as unfashionable as Bolton and quite like it.
Do not mind what you do, but I am wary of self-employed designers. The number of them on these sites is statistically improbable or something about their work makes them very bad at relationships.
Prepared to travel in any direction although anywhere much over 100 miles would have obvious logistical problems. It is location rather than distance that is a problem my last date was not too far away but lived off the beaten track so we regretfully agreed we could only be pen friends. For obvious reasons I prefer profiles that at least have a hidden and fairly recent photograph without sunglasses which I think are the photographic the equivalent of lace curtains. I cannot understand why people post photographs showing only pets, exotic foreign places and sunsets while they are attractive they do not really tell you much.
Finally, not particularly religious although militant atheists might be a problem as would satanists, but I can stretch to agnostics and tree huggers.
