About her
What to say to appear different and interesting! Mmm ....well I am not going to try and describe myself as you might see me totally differently. I really feel you have to meet to get an idea of whether there is the possibility of something further, I have made some statements and hope that I might then appeal to you.
Since retiring have becoming hooked on gardening. I love beautiful and interesting gardens, the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall being my favourite. If marooned on a desert island would have to have a crate of CDs and a wind up player on which to play them, female singers mainly being my favourites eg Etta James, Dusty Springfield, Nina Simone and too many others to list. Cannot walk past a bookshop such as Waterstones without buying a book, Foyles in London used to be my favourite but I still use my local library. I have to listen to music at some time during the day. I adore music and love dancing. Used to do a lot of ballroom dancing but the frustration of having to sit down while music I loved was playing was too much so have given up for the moment. Walking is my favourite thing and I get withdrawal symptoms if I cannot get out and about. Love Castles, especially if by a beach, art exhibitions, museums, Victoria and Albert Museum being my favourite. Watching ballet live is a real treat but I do struggle with most opera. I love getting in the car and just driving to somewhere I have not been before, usually by the sea, have found some fabulous beaches that way. Prefer a small dinner with friends talking and eating rather than in a large noisy atmosphere. Am learning French and in the past have studied German. Need to be stretched. Love cooking for friends and having dinner parties at my home. I have a beagle dog called Maggie, whose zest for life is wearing me out! I should also say that I have two cats as well, I am sure this would not suit everybody so its best I mention it now. Does any of this appeal to you!

My ideal match would be a loving, comfortable man to be with, who would make me feel wanted and loved. Someone not afraid to show his feelings. I have no special requirements as it all depends on that wonderful word 'chemistry'. Who knows what this means. Impossible to define. I am not sure
that chemistry is the right word but there has to be an attraction in the first instance and then hopefully everything can be worked out afterwards.
