A Londoner by birth I am equally at home in town or in the countryside. I am more or less retired and keep myself busy with volunteer projects but still have time to relax and enjoy the finer things in life. I strive to see the best in people and situations and I have a good sense of humour which I am told is important for this site! I love to travel and see new places and cultures and I have lived in several countries including the US, Iran, Zambia and Denmark.
I love cooking and entertaining and am happy to eat in simple surroundings or in smart restaurants - as long as the food (and wine!) is good. I am not just a townie- quite content to be in the country in wellies but I enjoy what London has to offer as well - theatre, cinema and keeping up to date with exhibitions/galleries. I keep fit with ballet and pilates. I play bridge and am finding it stimulating. I am passionate about the things I believe in and hold honesty in high esteem.
