About her
I'm an honest, sincere and caring person; I value my friends and am very loyal to them. I'm naturally optimistic, positive about life and have a great sense of fun; usually I'm chatty and confident, though just occasionally shy. I'm independent, though I like having someone else around to share life's ups and downs. I'm warm and affectionate with people I feel close to and like to laugh a lot.
What do I like......., well, 'travel' always sounds a cliche, but I have very itchy feet in that way, constantly wanting to get out to new places, meet people and see beyond the beach and tourist attractions. I have lived in Kenya (worked with VSO) and California. I love trying out new things, whether it be scuba diving, snowboarding or just trying to balance on a bicycle! That said, I'm equally happy at home, curled up with a mug of tea and a book, or just hanging out with friends, perhaps going for a walk on the Southbank (keep me away from the second hand book stalls though or I'll be gone a while), sitting outside a cafe or going to the cinema or theatre. I play the viola and particicpate in amateur orchestras and I love all types of music from Take That to Muse to opera to Mahler.
I'm looking for a nice, 'normal' guy; someone who is interesting and can make me laugh. He might be a rather bohemian type, well-travelled or maybe someone who has worked abroad and has a well-rounded view of the world. It doesn't matter too much what his interests are, as long as he is genuinely passionate about something and can really engage me in conversation.
