About him
I am a divorced 64-year young man back in Bristol after 23 years in the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, and four in London. Both my sons were at university in the U.K., one now teaching yoga and salsa, the other in graphic design. I have been divorced for more than eighteen years, and I am quite simply looking to expand my horizons in terms of my relationships on all fronts. I am what they call a Supervisory Analyst (glorified, but qualified editor in the financial market!), and I have worked in the big bad world of finance for 15 years in Latin America and Europe (now from my home office in Bristol), after many years in the world of sports around the globe!
I believe that life is to be lived to the full, and that all avenues should be explored, hence the attempt to contact kindred spirits around the world. This is now truer than ever, as we are living in a new world order that notably requires more awareness and compassion. I love playing tennis, sailing, cinema, the theater, and reading/writing, among many other (particularly outdoor) things. I have a motorhome for travel to Europe or around the U.K., and I love life as a digital nomad at times. For me, spontaneity is key, with friendship and mutual respect just two of the cornerstones for any successful relationship. And men have intuition too! I trust mine a lot.

I imagine that there are women out there with a similar attitude, and who understand what this new world order demands - which is largely based on not taking anything for granted, compassion, understanding and respect - but it is surprising how few people actually think and act in this way (we must question the mainstream take and shout out for change - BAME/ECO/INEQ). I believe in true love, putting someone else before yourself, but not losing yourself in the process. And an ideal partner would understand and accept this without blinking - it is all about taking advantage of unique opportunities - and being able to say yes and no. Sharing with someone is something to be treasured, although my priority will always be my two boys, I am now ready to move on, as are they.
A new day and a new way.....and I am feeling good.....so let's pass it forward...and avoid the context collapse!
